João Mário is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Manchester United and the Portugal national team. He was born on March 18, 1992, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
Mário began his career at hometown club Sporting CP before moving to fellow Lisbon giants Benfica in 2007.
